Skyrim Remastered Ps4 Gameplay Rating: 5,8/10 8401 votes

@walloftruth: vanilla OG Skyrim was able to run 1080p Ultra at 60fps (but not 100% of the time) on an R7 260x and Phenom II 965BE. Given the lighting and texture upgrades for the SE, I would anticipate that to drop it to a 45fps game with that hardware. Given that the X1 has roughly that same GPU but a worse CPU, and the PS4 has slightly better than that GPU, and a worse CPU, I would anticipate a 45fps experience at best for SE on those consoles as well. Which makes the locked 30fps logical.Disappointing, but the writing should be on the wall at this point about those systems' capabilities.

Here is the beginning of the brand new remastered version of Skyrim on PS4. The Elder Scrolls V. Nov 02, 2016  The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - PlayStation 3 $14.99 on Best Buy Special Edition as we rode in the cart toward our execution, and it didn't leave the best first impression.

Skyrim SE still has that thing that when you look at the sky or at a simple ground texture the FPS can sky rocket to 60+fps, so it's understandable that consoles got the 30 FPS lock.

@BattleSpectre: What about Whole tamriel in Modding graphics with PC modding community and maybe some wacky Co-op/mutiplayer mode xDHeh, I almost didn't recognize you now that you're sporting a new avatar, but then I remembered the golden rule. Nobody knows you're a dog on the internet;. To be honest I think developers should keep multiplayer away from these types of games, they should be played for their single player experience and that should be their main focus. When it comes to modding, you can already mod the Elder Scrolls games on PC (and I'm sure there's a mod out there which adds multiplayer to these games, or could be done).I meant more like bring them over to the current gen consoles in remastered glory, I'm down for that.

Rahsaan roland kirk bright moments. @BattleSpectre: Yeah i mean the Multiplayer more like a Arena minigame where you can see how good your character holds up VS that of anyone else. But if you do a remaster you need to do all ports ofcourse! And don't you think it would be awesome to go the WHOLE tamriel with the High preformance and hi-res textures that the modding community is sporting:DBut you don't need to wait for a PC remastered version to do that, you can already get mods from the community in any Elder Scrolls game you want:P. As for an Arena multiplayer mode that would be cool, as we already know combat in Elder Scrolls games aren't the best but that would be fun.
