I use my bike just as I use it on the road with a Garmin 520 bike computer, but I haven't been able to get my heart rate except through Garmin Connect. However, Garmin connect is not integrated with the Tacx App, so you have to edit to get some of the data from the trainer like climbing data from the GPS profile, etc.
