Lydia Torrent Paint It Golden

Might as well just wait for the official release date now lol. I was really hoping this album would leak (I don’t feel like that’s a bad thing, since I already pre-ordered it back on January 29) but it became pretty obvious that no one was going to leak this one. Doesn’t really matter to me now, because Eighty One Twenty Three shipped out pre-orders for the album yesterday, and since the CDs are coming from Arizona, I should have my copy in the mail today.
It’s just surprising to me that this album didn’t leak”Paint It Golden” did o.O. My copy has apparently been sent on a fucked up journey by the USPS. I have not received my copy yetand probably won’t get it for several more days now. For whatever reason, there must have been an error by the person who was sorting packagesmine completely bypassed my state and was sent to Illinois where it sat ALL DAY yesterdayit apparently just left the processing facility there this morning. So, yeahsorry guys, but I most likely won’t be getting my copy until Wednesday at the earliest.
I’m utterly pissed. I’ll be checking online throughout the day today, hoping that someone who gets their copy today will put it online somewhere. Ridiculous that a CD that should take one day to get to me will now end up taking 5 or 6 days. Sorry guys, apparently there was an error made by someone at the USPS facility in Arizona.
My copy of the album has now completely bypassed my state and has ended up in Illinoiswhere it sat ALL DAY yesterday. It apparently just left that sorting facility this morning – hopefully being put on the right track to finally get to my mailbox. I’m utterly pissed. The soonest I’ll likely end up getting my copy is either Wednesday or Thursday now. Absolutely ridiculous that a CD that should have taken ONE day to get here will now end up taking 5 or 6 days. I’ll keep checking online throughout the day, hoping that someone who gets their copy today will put it up somewhereI hate that I can’t listen to it today simply because the USPS screwed up. I’m keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that my copy hasn’t been lost by the USPS. I got a call from a USPS employee here in Colorado yesterday, she said my package wasn’t even scheduled for delivery until todaywell, guess what? There have been ZERO tracking updates since yesterday at 11:51 AM27 hours ago. I’ll give it until tomorrow, but if there are still no updates, I’ll probably have to contact them to see if there’s a possibility that my CD is now lostsuch a fucking mess, I swear.

Paint It Golden is the third album by Lydia. It is their first album after coming back from hiatus and was released on October 4, 2011.[2]
History[edit]
On May 17, 2011 it was announced that after a year long hiatus, Leighton and Craig would bring back the band to record a new album under the same name.[3][4]
